Privacy Policy

Overview

Studylitics is a study planning and progress tracking app. Depending on how you use the app, your data may be stored only on your device or, if you choose to sign in and use cloud sync on supported iPhone builds, stored in Google Firebase services used by the app.

Who this policy applies to

This policy applies to people who use Studylitics in its current iPhone release. It describes the app behavior reflected by the current codebase, including on-device storage, and optional sign-in and cloud sync on supported iPhone builds configured with Firebase.

Information we collect and store

When you use Studylitics, the app may store information such as:

• class names, topics, and review schedules
• test names, dates, and scores
• study sessions and related progress data
• goals, topic confidence changes, and XP progression records
• selected room level and related progression settings
• theme preference, onboarding/setup progress, and saved drafts
• sync status, last sync time, and an app-generated sync device identifier

If you sign in on a supported iPhone build, we may also process:

• your Firebase user ID
• your email address
• your display name, if supplied by your sign-in provider
• your sign-in provider, such as Google or email/password

Where information is stored

Studylitics stores app data locally on your device to support normal use of the app.

If you sign in and use cloud sync on a supported iPhone build, Studylitics stores relevant account and study data in Google Firebase services used by the app, including Google Sign-In, Firebase Authentication, and Cloud Firestore.

How we use information

• to create and manage your study plans, classes, tests, sessions, and progress records
• to authenticate you when you choose to sign in
• to sync data across supported app installs and devices
• to maintain your preferences and setup progress
• to help protect backend access using Firebase App Check on supported iPhone builds
• to support account actions such as sign-in, sign-out, sync, and deletion

Sharing and third parties

We do not sell your personal information.

We do not share your data for third-party advertising.

We share data only with service providers needed to operate the app features you choose to use, such as Google Sign-In, Firebase Authentication, and Cloud Firestore.

Tracking, ads, and analytics

Studylitics does not use cross-app tracking in the current iPhone app build.

The current app code does not include advertising SDKs or a dedicated analytics or crash reporting SDK for user behavior tracking.

The current iPhone build also does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, photo library, or precise location.

Data retention and deletion

Locally stored app data remains on your device until you remove it, replace it through app actions, or uninstall the app.

If you use cloud sync, cloud-stored data may remain in Firebase until you delete cloud data through the app where supported, delete your account through the app where supported, or deletion is otherwise processed by the underlying service workflow.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information. You may also have the right to object to or restrict some processing. Contact support@studylitics.com with privacy requests or questions.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect the information handled by Studylitics. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Studylitics is intended as a study planning tool and is not knowingly designed to collect personal information from children where prohibited by law. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app in a way that should not have occurred, contact support@studylitics.com.

International use

Studylitics may be used in different countries, and information may be processed in jurisdictions where the app’s service providers operate. If you use the app, you understand that information may be processed outside your home jurisdiction, subject to applicable safeguards and law.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and revise the effective date.
